The Master in Biotechnology Management is a 13-month, full-time, intensive program composed of four teaching periods. To be considered for admission, a candidate must have successfully completed the following prior to submission:

• A Bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university (or equivalent).
• GMAT exam or IE Admissions Test. The test result from one of these exams is a prerequisite for admission.
• An English language certificate is required for all non-native English-speaking applicants (TOEFL, TOIEC, IELTS, Cambridge Advanced). This requirement does not apply if you can demonstrate one of the following:
  • Two years work experience in an English speaking country.
  • Undergraduate degree completed in English.
• A complete application for evaluation by the Admissions Committee, including all supporting documents.

Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of 120€ to cover administrative costs.

The tuition fees for the Master in Biotechnology Management November 2007 amount to 31,000€ + 1,050€ (contribution to the IE Business School Foundation).

Admission is valid for two years, allowing the successful applicant up to two years to reserve a place on an intake, thus allowing students to plan their experience. To reserve a place on the Master in Biotechnology Management, intake students are required to make a deposit equivalent to 20% of the total program fees (6,200€) + the contribution to the IE Business School Foundation (1,050€).
